In Loving Memory...

Funeral services for David Kyle Baldwin, 61 year-old Thomas resident, were held Sunday, March 19, 2023, 3:00 P.M. in the Fay Auditorium with T.C. Perkins officiating. Burial followed at the Mound Valley Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Thomas.

David was born on December 13, 1961, in Thomas to William Leon and Marilyn Elizabeth (Taylor) Baldwin and passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at the Weatherford Regional.

David was raised and attended school in Thomas, graduating in 1980. Starting in David’s early teens and continuing thru high school and afterwards, he spent many summers on wheat harvest with Taylor Harvesting. He was known throughout the area as one of the best truck mechanics anyone could find. David also owned his own truck for many years hauling grain and oilfield equipment across the country. He had a sense of humor that will be remembered by all.

David is survived by his parents, Leon and Marilyn Baldwin of Thomas; two sisters, Debbie Waggoner of Fay and Dana Baldwin and husband Ray Mayer of Fairview; two brothers, Daryl Baldwin and Densi Haworth of Thomas and Dayne Baldwin and wife Leesa of Fay; nephews and nieces, Denton Waggoner and wife Jennifer and their children Anson, Ava, Alexis, Annabella, Trinity and Tristan of Mountain Park, Deitra Bryen and husband Kane and their children Beau and Jax of Caddo Valley, Arkansas, Braydon Baldwin and wife Allison and their children Adley and Roselyn of Thomas, Lanne Baldwin of Clinton, Lacee and Steven Castro and their children, Kaiden, Tegan, Aurin and Titus of Weatherford, Cody Mayer of Fairview, and Calen Mayer of Weatherford.

David was preceded in death by a brother, Deon Baldwin; a brother-in-law, Doyle Waggoner; uncles, Robert Taylor, Lyndle Taylor and J.W. Beers; aunt, Janet Beers and Carmaleta Taylor; and grandparents.

Memorials may be made to the family to help pay funeral expenses.
