Deborah Fay Bynum was born November 13, 1963 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City to Richard Donald Cherry and Peggie Louise Henderson and passed away March 25, 2020 at the age of 56.

She was a resident of the Dallas community for 30 years where she earned her CPA license. Deborah was the Chief Executive Officer transitioning to Board Chairwoman at Winzer Corporation, after being promoted from Chief Financial Officer.

Deborah attended Anadarko High School where she graduated as Salutatorian of her class in 1982; she then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She was then married to Jeffrey Bynum in Dallas, Texas in 1991.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Herman Bartel and grandmother, Lillie Mae Bartel. Her mother, Peggy Louise Henderson and father, Richard Donald Cherry, and her stepfather Norman J. Newell.

She is survived by two daughters, Taylor Drake (Bynum) and Angela Bynum both of Dallas, TX. Her former husband, Jeffrey Bynum; one brother, Richard Ray Cherry; one sister, Sharon Kay Reiber. Her best friend, Sally Green. Three grandchildren, McKenna Grace Drake, Natalynn Faith Drake, and Dayton Aubrey Drake. And Three nieces and nephews, Danielle Perez, Jarod Coleman, and Jessica Black.

Graveside services for Deborah Bynum will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 6, 2020 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, Oklahoma with Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga in charge of arrangements. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, this must be a gathering of 50 or less with proper social distancing methods in place.
