Body

Dorothy (Dottie) Alzetta Johnson was born on November 24, 1968, to Albert Johnson and Cozetta (Brown) Johnson in Oklahoma City, OK and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at the age of 51 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma. She was baptized at an early age at Macedonia Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and served as Sunday School Secretary.

Dorothy attended Geary Elementary School and graduated from Geary High School in 1987. During her high school years, Dorothy participated in FHA, Basketball, Band, Cheerleading and Cosmetology School in Watonga.

Dorothy was outgoing, energetic, very independent, loved people and always said what was on her mind. She never met a stranger.

During her 51 years, she faced many obstacles and setbacks, but never felt defeated and had an unwavering faith that God would always sustain her.

There wasn’t anything she was willing to try. Dorothy worked at several different jobs, but the one she enjoyed the most was the last one – driving a dump truck.

Dorothy’s greatest joy were her grandkids. She adored each one of them and always took time off to have weekend sleepovers with the 4 oldest ones. Her last day was spent loving on her 2 youngest grandkids.

Dorothy is survived by her father, Albert Johnson Sr. (OKC); mother, Cozetta (Brown) Johnson (Geary, OK); Stepmother, Joyce Johnson (Atlanta, GA); Grandmother, Katherine Brown (Geary, OK); Daughter, Cozetta (Coe) Johnson (OKC); Sons: Quinton (Q.J.)
