JC Howry, loving Husband, caring Father and proud Grandfather was born July 19, 1941 in Watonga Oklahoma to Herchel W. Howry and Eva Leona Howry. JC graduated from Watonga High School in 1959 with many classmates who have stayed close friends through the years. JC was in the Army for four years where he was able to serve his Country and visit Germany and other European countries which gave him a desire to travel. JC undertook a wide variety of vocations such as Volunteer Fireman, US Postal Carrier, Ironworker, furniture store owner, farmer and rancher as well as creating, owning and operating a mining business and a transportation company. JC treasured spending time in the mountains of Colorado where he made life-long friends who are as close as family. He also greatly enjoyed taking cruises with his wife Pat to tropical destinations. JC was a principle member of the “Knights and Nobles Philosophers Guild” which meets daily to discuss all matters great and small.

JC left this world to go to his heavenly home on November 17, 2020 in Enid, Ok. at the age of 79.

JC is survived by his wife Pat Howry whom he married on April 20 1979, sons Johnny Howry and Cindy of Duke, Ok., Travis Houska and Cheyenne of Duke, Ok., 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and his beloved dog and companion , Radar. JC was preceded in death by his parents, Herchel and Eva Howry, two sons, Donald Houska and Jason Howry and sister, Linda Gail Howry Riley.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested make donations in JC’s memory to Watonga Senior Citizens Club, 112 S Noble Ave., Watonga, Ok. 73772

Graveside services: will be held 11am Friday, November 20, 2020, Watonga IOOF Cemetery, Watonga Ok. Officiating: Rev. Zachary Brack
