John Marshall Howell

John Marshall Howell, 16, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at home in Oakwood, Oklahoma. John was born to Nicole Bowman and William Howell, October 14, 2005 in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

John loved riding horses and working on his truck. He helped his family on the farm and also had worked at the sale barn in Fairview. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

John was preceded in death by his three grandmothers, Patsy Sherwood (Pat), Marion Holsapple (Mary) and Lela ( Pratt) Howell; one grandpa Marshall Howell; three cousins Eugene Holsapple, Diamond Warrior, Mateo Black and Dereck Hough. He is survived by his mothers Nicole and MaKayla Bowman of Oakwood, OK; father William Howell (Chugo) and Beckey of Oakwood, OK; brother Tucker Howell of Oakwood, OK; sister Chyann Schaefer of Oakwood, OK; girlfriend Susan Cook and unborn son Lane Harrison Howell of Oakwood, OK; grandparents papa Mike Sherwood, papa Marion Gooden, papa Fred Holsapple; grandma Lorrie Patterson; second mom Jennifer McManus of Watonga, OK; as well as other family and friends.

Celebration of life services will be held Friday, October 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., at Oakwood Auditorium with Pastor Bill Sander officiating. Cremation will follow the service per John’s wishes. Condolences may be made online at www.piercefuneralhomes.com.
