In Loving Memory...

1941~2022 Louise R. Williams was born February 24, 1941 in Bennettsville, SC to Henry and Suzy (Quick) Rich. She passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the Maple Lawn Manor Nursing Home in Hydro, OK at the age of 81. Louise attended Bennettsville High School in Bennettsville, SC. She moved to various places including Collinsville, OK. She and David Williams met while he was working in the Tulsa area. They were united in marriage on November 22, 1970 in Bixby. They moved to Enid before settling in Geary. She worked part time at Cal Gas Propane Company while driving a school bus for the Geary Schools. Louise later worked as a cook at the Geary Nursing Home and worked as a nurse’s aide. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking for the holidays. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Geary and was baptized at the Christian Church along with David and David, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Suzy Rich, sister, Joann Sessoms, and two brothers, Henry Rich, Jr. and Jim Rich.

Louise is survived by her husband David Williams of the home, Geary, OK; three sons, Andrew Wright and wife Lisa of Claremore, OK, Clegg Wright of Tulsa, OK, and David Williams, Jr. and wife Becky of Geary, OK; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Polston of Bennettsville, SC, and Suzy Driggers of SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.

Graveside Service: Geary Cemetery, Wednesday, 2:00 pm, November 2, 2022, Geary, OK, with Rev. Richard Cox officiating, services entrusted to Turner Funeral Home, Geary, Oklahoma.
