In Loving Memory... Mildred Pearl Threlkeld

Mildred Pearl Threlkeld was born May 9, 1941 to Homer and Irene (Sexton) Parkerson in Altus, Oklahoma. She passed away May 19, 2023 at River Oaks Assisted Living Center in El Reno, Oklahoma at the age of 82. Mildred married Lawrence Threlkeld on June 4, 1963 in Wellington, KS. They resided near Sickles, Oklahoma until early 1990s before moving to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Threlkeld, parents Homer and Irene (Sexton) Parkerson, two daughters Debra Heffron and Denittia Overton, one son Clayton Dorris and one infant son James Nathaniel Parkerson , two brothers Odell and Dale “Bucky” Parkerson, and one sister Gayle Clifton. Survivors include daughter Violet Pinon of Texas, Cathy and MikeAllen of Geary, OK, son Bo Johnson and fiance Tricia Harris of Geary, OK, son Richard and Marilyn Threlkeld of Binger, OK. Survivors also include many grandkids, great-grandkids, great-great grandkids, and many family friends. We will miss her always, but she was ready to go be with the Lord & waits for us to come see her. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thur., May 25, 2023, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service- South Chapel, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, OKC. The family would like to thank Good Shepherd Hospice, Carla Kappus, and her staff family at River Oaks Assisted Living Center. Services are under the direction of the Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services South Chapel, Oklahoma City, OK.
