He was an active member attending various mission trips and he especially loved contemporary Christian music. He was a supporter of the K-LOVE radio station and his truck radio was always tuned to K-LOVE.

Ronnie was a farmer/rancher and farmed alongside his dad on the family farm. He loved to be at the farm, making the rounds to check all the cattle and family members could always expect to receive pictures of new born calves. Every year he looked forward to sowing and harvesting wheat.

One of Ronnie’s passions was his work as a volunteer firefighter where he served the local community of Omega. In over 20 years of volunteer service to the community, he would always stop whatever he was doing and go whenever there was a call.
