William B. Dromgoole, Jr.

William B. Dromgoole, Jr. was born October 29, 1941 to William B. Dromgoole, Sr., and Elizabeth Genevieve (Coppage) Dromgoole in Geary, OK. He passed away Wednesday December 23, 2020 at the Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 79. Willie graduated from Geary High School and attended vocational automotive school. He served in the US Army National Guard. Willie was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Calton September 22, 1965 in Watonga, OK and she preceded him in death January 21, 2017 in OKC. He started working for Ed Fancher Chevrolet and Becker Chevrolet. Willie and Patsy purchased the Geary Auto Clinic in 1974 and for over 40 years he was in business till he retired in 2014 and helped carry on the family tradition of broom making.

He enjoyed wood working and traveling, he and Patsy’s favorite place to visit was Branson. Willie was a member of the First Baptist Church where he served in many capacities including Chairman of the Deacons, song leader and Sunday School Teacher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Gen Dromgoole, his wife, Patsy Dromgoole, sister, Irene Horn, aunts, Nina Dromgoole, Viola Patterson, and Sally Nuse, and cousin Harvey Patterson.

Willie is survived by his two children, Sheila Dromgoole and Eric Dromgoole and his wife Bridget all of Geary; grandchildren, Micah, Chad, Austin, Hayden, Landon, Ethan, and Payden; great-grandchildren, Carson and Bella Anne Dromgoole.
