We had a couple of ladies from Grady County in for a tour Wednesday. They were at Roman Nose for the 4-H workshop. It’s always nice to visit with people that are interested in history.

We want to thank Rex Kraft for taking his time and gas to go pick up the columns for the front porch. They are in storage ready to be used.

Work is going well on the east outside wall of the museum. They are almost ready to put primer on and start painting the top part. Louise Dunn worked on cleaning out the flower beds this week.

The Ferguson Market will be June 5, 2021, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the lot across the street north of the Museum. Bring your garden vegetables, small tools, pets, crafts, books, or whatever you don’t want anymore. Anyone interested in having a spot can call 580-623-5069 for more information. We have a spot reserved already, with Farmasi make up, and plants and one with children’s clothes.

We will welcome any volunteers. Whether it is to help on the restoration or with events and programs. Whatever you would like to do even if it’s just for one event or a few hours at a time.
