A Lamp to My Feet

During this time of civil disobedience, I will try to point people to the right way of accomplishing the right things. We all remember the saying: “2 wrongs don't make a right." Folks, civil disobedience is not God's way of changing the world. Lawbreakers are going against God's law. Romans 13:1-5, “Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished. For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you. The authorities are God's servants, sent for your good. But if you are doing wrong, of course you should be afraid, for they have the power to punish you. They are God's servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong. So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience."

Satan's way is not God's way. If you aren't doing something God's way, you are doing it Satan's way. Jesus said that Satan is the father of all lies. Jesus said about Himself, “I am the way, the truth, and the life." (John 14:6) The Bible tells us that it is impossible for God to lie." (Hebrews 6:18) God's way is always the right way. Satan's way is always the wrong way.
