Hi everybody! Well, another week has passed. The wind's still blowing and we're still dry as can be. The weatherman this morning shows all these chances for rain during the coming week. I'll believe it when I see it.

I hope you all had a nice Easter. Ours was quiet. We had a brunch at church and then the kids hunted eggs. We don't have any little kids in our family now. They've all grown up!

Friday we had 13 people get their blood sugar and blood pressure checked. We really appreciate those that come to do the tests! Last week only one lady came but she got the job done. Thank you Teresa!

Thursday we had our regular quilters come in. Naida Kerr, Estalene Teply, Judy Curtin, and Gene Matli. They are making progress on the quilt but there's a lot of quilting to be done on it. If you like to quilt, feel free to come in on Thursday morning to help them with this project. They would be glad to have you join them.

Don't forget this Friday, the 22nd, we'll be having our annual Chicken and Noodle Dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. And there will be a Cake Auction at 6. This is a major fundraiser for the Center. The Masons will be helping us with the dinner and we sure appreciate them and their support. To call for orders to go call 623- 4511.

Then on the 23rd we'll be meeting for games, food, and music. We'll start at 6 p.m. and close at 9 p.m. Come on in and join in the fun.

Last week we had Peggy Franks and Wayne Maddux, Mary Brown and Karen Dugger, Curt and Brenda Stein, Janice Hood, and Vernon Brickman delivering our meals on wheels. We're thankful for these folks that are willing to volunteer to help us with this project. Thank you all!

Here's our menu for the next few days. Check it out! Call for delivered meals before 10. Call before noon for meals to be picked up.

Thursday: Liver and Onions

Friday: Breaded Pork Loin

Friday night: Chicken and Noodles

Monday: Chicken Salad and Cheese Soup

Tuesday: Chicken Casserole

Wednesday: Kiwanis meets at noon, we eat at 11

Well, I hope you have a great week. It'll be a busy week for me. I hope we see some of that rain they keep talking about. That would be great! Anyway, take care of yourselves and stay safe. Til next week...
