Hi everyone! What a beautiful day it was today (Sunday). A lot of wind but the temperature was much cooler than it has been. I hope the cooler temps last a few more days.

I noticed the quilt was out of the frame when we went for Saturday night music and games. We had 27 come in for some fun. Several came to play pool. Wayne Maddux and David Green supplied the music for us. They do a good job keeping us entertained. Hopefully there will be a new quilt in the frame soon. And don’t forget to come by and see the one hanging on the wall. It’s a real beauty.

We had a lot of donations last week- mostly best choice labels. They were brought in by Judy Curtin, Sionokie Rogers, and Barbara Sinclair. We appreciate all those labels. They bring in a little extra money to the center. We also received cans from Margie Smith. Thanks to all of you for your donations.

I want to thank all those that delivered meals for us last week. It was Pat Brewer, Sharon Barnes, Brenda and Curt Stein, Janice Hood, and Vernon Brickman. You are all a real blessing to us. I know those folks receiving the meals appreciate you all. They really look forward to you coming by.

Next Monday, July 4th, we will be closed for Independence Day. You can’t miss it. You’ll be hearing all the fireworks around town. And if your up to it, the Lions Club and City of Watonga will be setting some fireworks off around 9p.m. at Huff Lorang Park. A little earlier there will be some vendors there selling hot dogs and such. Plan for a picnic! Anyway, I hope you all have a nice day as we celebrate our independence. It’s a wonderful thing to celebrate.

Here’s our menu for the next few days. Call for delivery or to order meals to go.
