Hi everybody! I hope you are all doing well. I went last Tuesday for my pacemaker surgery. Surgery was at 9 AM and I was home by 2 PM. They were really herding us through. One surgery every hour ( the surgery only took 45 minutes). I visited with a lady in recovery that had just received her third one. If you get a chance drive by and look at our nice clean windows. They are sparkling! Janice Hood couldn’t stand it any more so she roped her sister, Donita Mackey, in to helping her was the last Friday morning. I hear traffic almost got jammed up on south noble as people slowed down to check out those good looking women on a ladder. Mom (Maxine Strack ) supervised. We really appreciate these ladies taking on the project. The windows look terrific! They tell me they had 23 people in for exercise on Friday. That’s wonderful! They also do some singing with some of the exercises and I’m told they make a good choir. Come in and check it all out. They meet at 9 Am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The Cheyenne quilting guild made a donation to the center in memory of Bill Miner ( Beth Massey’s Father) and Yanina Mullin. We appreciate their memorial donation. Last week Pat Brewer delivered meals on wheels two days. Also delivering were Sharon Barnes, Brenda and Curt Stein and Janice Hood. Thanks to all of you for your help getting those meals out. These are our upcoming meals to be served. Just call for a meal to be delivered or to get meals to go. And don’t forget our biscuits and gravy on Thursday’s at 8 AM.
