Hi Everyone! I am glad to be back with you again. It’s been quite a week. It was good to see many returns for exercise. Estalene was all ready and even had a few new exercises for us to do. It was pretty clear that none of us had kept up our exercises during the break. Most of us were pretty worn out at the end of class on Monday. Wednesday was a little better. I didn’t exercise on Friday. I wasn’t quite feeling up to par. On average, we had about 11 to 12 attend. Maybe there will be more on Monday.

We’ve had a few people come in to eat. Most are still getting their meals to go. Friday, we prepared a total of 45 meals.

Just a reminder, Kiwanis is now meeting at noon at the Center on Wednesdays. On that day, we eat at 11 instead of 12. Please come in prepared to leave by noon.

We received another nice donation this week. It was also anonymous. We appreciate these donations during this trying time.

Monday is Board meeting. We’ll discuss opening for Saturday Night Out get togethers. I’m not really sure it’s a good time yet.

We are not yet doing biscuits and gravy on Thursday mornings. Maybe we can get that started again before long.

We appreciate those that delivered meal on wheels this week. I don’t know what we would do without these folks. This week it was D’Von Poulson, Janice Hood, Curt and Brenda Stein, and Peggy Franks and Wayne Maddux. Thank you all very much.

I received some sad news this afternoon (Sunday). I was told of the death of Don Teply. I am so sorry for Estalene and her family. Don was a great guy and everyone liked him. He will be missed.

We have some interesting meals scheduled for this week. Of course you know our menu is always subject to change. Call us to double check if you’d like. 580-623- 4511.

Our meals for the coming week are as follows;

Thursday—Chicken Casserole

Friday—Ham and Sweet Potatoes

Monday—Chili Dogs and Salad

Tuesday—Chicken Strips

Wednesday—Chicken Fried Steak

Well there you have it. Our schedule for the week. Also don’t forget exercise class on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 am, come on and join us.
