Hi, everybody! It’s been another fast week. Time passes so quickly anymore! This week will be a short week for me, more doctor appointments. Oh, well, they’re keeping me going so I can’t complain.
We are still taking names for the defensive driving class. We would like a few more to sign up for it to help keep the cost down for each one. If you’re interested just give us a call at 623-4511. We’ll put you on the list. No date has been set yet as we’d like to have a few more sign up for it.
We’ll be meeting again for games and music at 6 p.m. this Saturday, April 22. It seems like we just did this, but it’s been two weeks already. We’ll be waiting three weeks for the next get together, since we only meet the second and fourth Saturdays. Anyway, mark your calendar and come join in the fun. Please bring a snack of some kind to share with others.
Pat Brewer, Sharon Barnes, Curt and Brenda Stein, Janice Hood and Vernon Brickman all delivered meals for us last week. We sure do appreciate all the help we get with this program. Thanks to all of you that help.
We had three quilters last week to work on the quilt. It’ll soon be finished. They were Estalene Teply, Gene Matli and Judy Curtin.
Joanna Nitzel and Watonga Christian Church donated and Sandra Maddux brought in Best Choice bar codes. Thanks to all of you for thinking of us with your donations.
We received a number of donations in memory of Wayne Maddux. We’re sure going to miss him. Those donating were Larry and Maida Kerr, Lonnie Rickey, Don and Doreen Robison, Elosie Espy, Estalene Teply, Don and Sandra Maddux, Greg and Joyce Rogers, Judy Curtin, Freda Hauser, Mary may, Randall and Martha White and Mae and Jim Thompson. Other donations received last week were from Yvonne Christensen in memory of Holly Ransom and Richard Cox, from Carol McCrary in memory of Carol Dunn, Curt Gose and Wayne Maddux and from B.J. Webb in memory of Wayne Maddux and Curt Gose. We are so thankful for all these donations, though we are sorry for the circumstances. We’re so sorry for all those who have lost a loved one or dear friend.
