Hi Everyone! I hope you have had a good week. Things are still rather quiet around the Center. We’ve had a few people come in for lunch but not like it used to be. We are still filling lots of carry-out meals. People are just a little leery yet of mixing with a lot of others.

Exercise classes are going good. Janice Hood has been leading us while Estalene takes a break. Janice does a good job too. We have picked up two or three more this week. We have enough room that we can have social distancing and everyone takes their weights with them when they leave.

The Board met last week and it was decided it would be best to wait at least another month before beginning our Saturday Night games and music. We’ll keep you advised. We had several donations

We had several donations this past week. They were in memory of Don Teply, Darrell and Doris Milliron, Maydie Owens and Danny Masters. These are all very much appreciated.

There have been some questions regarding the use of the pool table. If you like to play pool, please feel free to come in to play anytime we are open. That would be from 8 am to around 1 pm, except on Wednesday. That is when Kiwanis comes in at noon and everyone else has to be gone during their meeting time.

We continue to get our Meals on Wheels out with the help of our good volunteers. This week that was Peggy Franks and Wayne Maddux, Curt and Brenda Stein, Regina Glass and Janet Taylor, Janice Hood and Peggy Franks and some of her ‘family kids’. We are so thankful for all these folks.

This week’s menu looks good to me. Come on in and check it out. Or call us for pickup at 580-623-4511.
