SENIOR CENTER NEWS

Hi, everyone! I hope you had a good week, and didn’t you just love the rain we received? The ducks and birdsl enjoyed the water flowing down the gully south of the airport.

Well, we had our chicken noodle dinner. There must have been a lot of other things going on. But we are thankful for those that came in or ordered to go. I think all the Masons showed up to support us. The cake auction went well, thanks to John Paul Ridenhour. I want to thank all the ladies that brought in the cakes and pies to be auctioned off. I also want to thank all the ones who brought in desserts, all that helped with the cooking, serving and cleaning up. Thank you to Lawayne Flaming for making and putting out the signs.

We’ll meet at 6 p.m. Saturday for games and music. Come down and join the fun, bring some kind of snack to share. The Masons will serve pancakes and more at 7 a.m. Saturday. There is always good food and visiting going on.

The quilters skipped last week, but I bet they’ll be here Thursday, come join them.

Margie Smith donated cans and Yvonne Christensen donated in memory of Danny Bond. Thank you, ladies.
