Hi Everyone! Hope your week was a good one. Didn’t have much excitement at the center. We had a really good group at exercise on Friday. I think there were about 23 people there. Esther Arnold led exercises to give Estalene a break. It was a good workout.

We are in need of a volunteer to deliver meals on wheels on Tuesday. Our regular deliverer, Brenda broke her arm and can’t do it no. If you have a couple of hours you can spare on Tuesdays to help us with this project, we would sure appreciate it. Give us a call at 623-4511.

Those that delivered the meals last week were Janet Taylor and Janice Hood and Regina Glass and Peggy Franks (3days). Thanks to all of you.

The meals planned for the next few days are as follows:

Thursday – Liver and onions

Friday – Fried Chicken

Monday- BBQ Pork Sandwiches

Tuesday- BBQ Sausage

Wednesday- Chicken Fried Steak

Thursday- Breaded Pork Loin

Friday – Roast Beef (August Birthday Dinner)

Call us if you’d like to pick up a dinner, or come in and eat with us. We’d like to see you.

Angel Home Health came in on Friday to do blood pressure and blood sugar checks. We had 14 people come in to be checked. They always bring a little gift to give away and the winner was Esther Arnold. They are very nice ladies and we appreciate them coming. They’ll be back again on September 11th.

Our donations last week were Best Choice Barcodes from Sandy Maddux, and fresh Vegetables from Janice Hood and Gene Matli. Thank you ladies.

Gene Matli brought in a beautiful quilt she has put together. It is hanging for everyone to see. I was told the blocks were pieced by members of the Cheyenne Quilt Guild. Come by and look at it. You’ll be glad you did.

We received a donation in memory of Idalue Ivins. It was from Nevada and David Block. Thank you for remembering Idalue. We miss her. She had been a regular in our exercise classes.

Don’t forget our biscuits and gravy on Thursday Mornings. We’ll be glad to fix it to go if you’d like.

Well that’s about all my news for this week. Please remember to wear your mask and wash you hands often. Stay safe, stay well. Til Next week……
