This holiday season, The Lookout Kitchen is offering visitors the opportunity to spend Thanksgiving at a state park by making reservations for their Thanksgiving Day lunch buffet. This unique event is the perfect way to spend a stress-free holiday while still enjoying delicious Thanksgiving classics.
“Thanksgiving is a special time of year for us to gather with loved ones and enjoy time together over a great meal,” said Shelley Zumwalt, executive director of the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department.
“Instead of spending hours in the kitchen, spend more time with your family and start a new Oklahoma tradition and join us in sharing a Thanksgiving meal in our state parks!”
There are six Lookout Kitchen locations dispersed throughout Oklahoma State Parks including: Beavers Bend State Park Lake Murray State Park Robbers Cave State Park Roman Nose State Park Quartz Mountain State Park Sequoyah State Park All six of the Lookout Kitchen locations are open on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Adult reservations are $49.95 per person and reservations for kids aged 5-12 are $14.95 per person.
Children aged 4 and under eat free.
This price includes an all-you-can-eat buffet with offerings such as roasted turkey, honey and ginger glazed ham, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and all of the Thanksgiving meal staples without the added stress and hassle.
