On Jan. 12, the boys suffered the lone defeat on the week, losing 47-41 in a battle of the Eagles to No. Hennessy Eagles (8-1). That was a second loss to Hennessy in a week, as Watonga also lost 55-50 previously in the Three Rivers Tournament.

The Eagles bounced back with a close fought 40-36 win over Hinton, and then closed the week out with a 58-50 win over Okarche.

The boys play this week in the Coyle Tournament, Thursday-Saturday.
