Eagles Take on Crusaders

The Watonga Eagles suffered a lopsided loss Friday night to the Christian Heritage Crusaders, 49-0. This followed a bye week for the Watonga squad.

The Eagles are carrying a 2-6 record on the season going into a Nov. 4 clash at home with Hinton High School. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. The scheduled game against Canadian High School in Pittsburg County was cancelled Monday.

The Comets ended this week with a 5-3 record but will tangle with Cashion (35) Oct. 28 before taking on the Eagles. The Wildcats defeated the Eagles 48-8 on Oct. 7.

The Nov. 8 game will end the football season for the Eagles, and the team and school will celebrate its Senior Night that evening.
