Reese Coleman captured first place among high-school girls at the Weatherford Cross Country Meet on Saturday (9:17.03), while Brayden Cowan took first for the middle school boys (8:10.05). Both ran 2400m. As a team, Watonga’s middle school boys and girls both finished in fifth place overall. Emyree Lake (6:45.61, 1600m), Kenzi Cowan (6:57.29, 1600m) and Sam Miller (9:53.83, 2400m) also notched top-15 finishes in the middle school meets.
