Football Season Ends for Eagles

The Watonga Eagle football season ended Friday night with a loss to the Hinton Comets. This shuts the Eagles out of post season play.

Hinton was 5 and 3 coming into the Watonga game, while the Eagles were 2 and 6 with one cancellation.

The final score was 25-6, with the Comets coming out on top.

It was also senior night for Watonga, with 12 team members honored before their last high school football game. With that many seniors leaving the squad, it is a strong possibility that next year will be considered a rebuilding season.
