Heavy Medals at Enid

AT LEFT and BELOW: It was raining medals for the Geary cross country teams in Enid Saturday morning at the Class A Oklahoma Bible Academy Invitational.

The high school girls’ team finished in first place with senior Malena Beaver winning the race. Freshman Olivia Helmer finished second and sophomore Randi Upchego finished third.

The middle school girls’ team also won first place in their race. Top placer was fourth grader Aspynn Flinn finishing fifth overall.

The high school boys’ team finished third with freshman Andrew Bates placing eighth and sophomore Rylan Peralta 15th.

The middle school boys’ team finished second with eighth grader Braden Charlie placing in second overall and seventh graders Cheston Olsen and Hunter Weaver finishing in fourth place and eighth place, respectively. The Bison will next compete in two weeks at the Kingfisher Invitational.
