According to the meet results, Sophia Fritz placed 13th in her junior high category.
Natalie Plascensia placed second in the 108 pound weight category and Candace Johnson was 13th in the 121 pound class. Serenity Lasiter was second in the 136 pound weight class and Peyton Hartfield was 13th in the heavyweight class.
Four Watonga wrestlers were state qualifiers. Dayson Cash, Ayden Perez, Brayson Gordon and Dakota Cox each won their consolation round matches. (AT RIGHT) Cash and Perez lead the way getting high fives from elementary school students during their sendoff to state competition.
