Above, Left: The Oklahoma Business Professionals of America organization has announced that Eduardo Sanchez and Luke Posey are finalists to compete in Tulsa for Gold, Silver, and Bronze in SQL Database Development. The two will be recognized on stage March 6 at the BPA convention. They are among eight finalists for the award based on their scores from online testing.

Above, center: The Geary High School Spanish and Beta Clubs volunteered Feb. 20 at the Regional Food Bank in Oklahoma City. These students were part of a group that packed over 3,400 backpacks to be sent home with children throughout the region, providing over 8,900 meals.

And speaking of meals

Geary Public Schools has received a $25,000 grant from the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry that is being used to provide locally grown beef to our students and staff. Monday's pot roast lunch was evidence of these funds in action. We are proud of the effort our cafeteria staff puts into delicious meals for our staff and students.
