Shiny Rides Dress up Geary Tri-County Fair

  • Brandts Painting on East Main had the honor to paint four rides at the Geary fairgrounds prior to this year’s fair. The Geary Tri County Free fair, founded in 1901 has no entry fee to enter the carnival or exhibits. All rides are owned by the Chamber of Commerce and are run by local volunteers.

  • Citizen of the Year was awarded to Mr. Jim Warwick. Mr. Warwick was a teacher at Geary Schools for more than 20 years. He has been and continues to be a positive influence in the lives of his former students and everyone he meets. He has made a profound impact on countless lives, here in Geary and we are honored to recognize him. Mr. Warwick wanted to say ‘Thank You’, as he is so honored to receive this award, and he is sorry that he was unable to attend the parade as planned.
