Slow Pitch Softball Season in Full Swing

JH and HS slow pitch softball seasons are in full swing with many games and tournaments on the schedule.

Coach Rick Scott reports the players are "gaining experience everyday learning how to win. If we can cut down our errors and hit in timely fashion by the time districts get here we could surprise a few people."

The high school team defeated Elk City 16-13 and had a narrow loss to Merritt 10-11 at the Arapaho Festival Friday. In JH action, the Lady Bison played a doubleheader with Okarche at home Thursday. The Lady Bison lost the first game 3-1 but won the second 5-4.
