Live sports might not be active right now due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but there was surely plenty of action over the weekend with the 2020 NFL Draft.

Four former college football players for the University of Oklahoma Sooners and two for the University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane were selected over the course of the three-day draft.

As of Tuesday night, there were also two Oklahoma State University Cowboys and one additional Sooner player signed as undrafted rookie free agents.

Oklahoma Wideout CeeDee Lamb: First Round, 17th Pick to Dallas Cowboys

This was an absolute steal for the Dallas Cowboys as arguably the top receiver in the entire 2020 NFL Draft class fell right into their lap with the 17th overall pick.

Lamb, who caught 62 passes for a whopping 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns this past season for the Sooners, has great hands and is a very dynamic player down the field after the catch.

Oklahoma Linebacker Kenneth Murray: First Round, 23rd Pick to Los Angeles Chargers

Widely regarded as the best linebacker in the draft, the Chargers traded up to select Murry, who has elite athleticism, speed, and explosiveness at his position.

Look for Murray to start immediately for the Chargers and likely be in the running for Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Oklahoma Quarterback Jalen Hurts: Second Round, 53rd Pick to Philadelphia Eagles

The Green Bay Packers selecting Utah State quarterback Jordan Love in the first round was not the only questionable quarterback selection early in the draft as the Eagles made a surprise pick of Hurts in the second round.

In his lone season for the Sooners under head coach Lincoln Riley, Hurts was stellar in 2019-20 and racked up 5,149 total yards (3,851 passing and 1,298 rushing) and accounted for 52 touchdowns.

It will be very interesting to see how many different ways the Eagles can work Hurts into their offense this upcoming season already led by star quarterback Carson Wentz.

Oklahoma Defensive Tackle Neville Gallimore: Third Round, 82nd Pick to Dallas Cowboys

Former Oklahoma defensive tackle Neville Gallimore joins his college teammate CeeDee Lamb on Dallas as the fourth Sooner player selected in the first three rounds of the draft.

Gallimore was one of the Sooners' most important players on the defensive line in 2019 and was a First-Team All-Big 12 selection. He finished the season with 29 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and 4.0 sacks.

Tulsa Cornerback Reggie Robinson II: Fourth Round, 123rd Pick to Dallas Cowboys

Robinson could very well earn a starting spot at cornerback for Dallas this upcoming season with his great ball skills and physical play.

During his senior year at Tulsa, Robinson had a teamhigh four interceptions. He also had 34 pass deflections over his career at Tulsa and blocked four kicks on special teams.

Tulsa Linebacker Trevis Gipson: Fifth Round, 155th Pick to Chicago Bears

Gipson led Tulsa’s defense with 8.0 sacks in the 2019-20 season and will look to contribute early for an already stellar Chicago defense.

Oklahoma State CB A.J. Green: Cleveland Browns as Undrafted Free Agent

Although he was expected to be selected at some point of Day Three (rounds 4-7) of the NFL Draft, Green immediately signed a rookie contract with the Browns after not being selected.

At cornerback for the Pokes, Green was a 2019 AP Second-Team All-Big 12 and a Thorpe Award Semifinalist.

Oklahoma CB Parnell Motley: Tampa Bay Buccaneers as Undrafted Free Agent

Motley was a very productive player for the Sooners as he tallied 33 pass breakups, 176 tackles, six forced fumbles, five interceptions, and one fumble recovery.

Oklahoma State CB Kemah Siverand: Seattle Seahawks as Undrafted Free Agent

Although a bit of a longshot to make the Seahawks’ 53-man roster for the regular season, Siverand was a standout on special teams for OSU.
