Three Wins Give Lady Eagles Winning Record

The Watonga Lady Eagles steamrolled to three wins in the past week, improving their record to 4-3 on the season.

Lauren Campo’s squad kicked things off with a convincing 54-31 win at Hennessy. The girls returned to the friendly confines of their home gym and knocked off another convincing win, 60-22, over Hinton.

They Lady Eagles capped off the week with a close win over Class A No. 8-ranked Okarche, 48-45.

Watonga kicks off the tournament with a game against Crescent on Thursday. If they win, the Lady Eagles will play at 3:20 p.m. Friday against the winner of Coyle/SW Covenant. If they win that game, they’ll play for the tournament championship at 6:15 p.m. Saturday. The thirdplace game is Saturday at 3:20 p.m.

If they lose against Crescent, they will play at 12:40 p.m. Friday against the loser of Coyle/SW Covenant. The consolation championship is Saturday at 12:40 p.m. The seventh place game is at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Other teams in the tournament are Okarche, Mulhall-Orlando, Okeene, Oilton.
