The Canton Tiger squad opened up like a buzz saw against the 4-4 Okeene Whippets Friday night at home. The team placed 44 unanswered points on the board on the way to a 50-6 win over Okeene.

That takes the Canton record to 4 and 5 going into the season’s final game Nov. 4 against 3-6 Waukomis on the road. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

Okeene, meanwhile, will face off Nov. 4 against Covington-Douglas at home. The Wildcats are coming in to that game with a 7-2 record.

The Watonga Eagles will take on the Hinton Comets Nov. 4 in what should be a slobber-knocker at home.

The 2-6 Eagles had essentially a bye week last week because the game against the 0-8 Canadian Cougars was cancelled. The wellrested squad will kickoff against the 5-4 Comets at 7 p.m. hoping to end the season on a W. Senior night will be observed as well, with the presentation of the seniors before the game at Eagle Field.

The Geary Bison have had an up-and-down season and will take on Corn-Bible Friday night to finish the regular season.

The Bison are 4 and 5 on the year, taking a loss against Mountain View last week, 24-58. Corn Bible is also 4 and 55 on the gridiron, losing last week against Tipton by a whopping 40-6 score.

The Geary game will kickoff at 7 p.m.
