Turney Signs with Rogers State University

(Pictured above) Parents Jody and Shannon Turney and sister Jaidon Turney. Jocelyn recently committed to continue her athletic and academic career at Rogers State University in Claremore.

Jocelyn is a member of the 2019 and 2020 Class 2A State Champion Cross Country Team and was named All State in XC her sophomore and senior years. The Lady Eagles also brought home the 2019 State Champion Class 2A Track and Field Team trophy. The 4x800 relay team won the gold and the 4x400 relay team also medaled. In addition Jocelyn won individual medals in the 400m and 800m events during her high school career. The team was not able to compete in 2020 due to the pandemic, but have high hopes of bringing home the championship again in 2021. Jocelyn has maintained a 4.0 throughout her school career and is named to the National Honor Society.
