Watonga boys finished ninth overall in the Dover Small School Invitational at Kingfisher. Parker Roberts led the team with a PR of 76, coming in 5th place individually. Cooper House shot an amazing 88 (2 away from his PR), placing individually in the top 30. Dayson Cash had a PR of 98 and both Talen Smith and Sam Miller rounded out the team with some of their best shots of the season.

The Watonga Eagles lost April 3 to Woodward, 6-2. Watonga got on the board in the first inning after Cooper House singled, scoring one run. Woodward took the lead, 4-1, in the bottom of the second thanks to singles by #11, and #3.

Congratulations to Kyler Thiessen! He’s been named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association Small West All State Basketball Team.Kyler earned this recognition for his outstanding play during the Chieftains’ State Championship season, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Eagles Soar Past Cards

The Watonga Eagles won big Friday over Medford Cardinals 18-9. They got on the board in the top of the first inning after Cooper House grounded out, and the Eagles scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.
