Dec. 6 Geary boys Lost to Mt.

The Watonga Lady Eagles were at the Minco Classic over the weekend. Coach Lauren Campos had this to say about the tournament and the outcome; “ Negative: We lost. Positive: we outscored them in 3/4 quarters, and we were runner up in a very tough Minco tournament! I’m proud of what we accomplished; we have lots of great things to build on. Love you girls! At the Minco Bulldog Classic, the Watonga Eagles took a loss the first day, Dec. 8 at the hands of Boone-Apache by a score of 4655.

ESports Teams Compete in Altus

On Friday, Dec. 2, the Watonga esports team went to the state playoffs/Smash Bros. qualifier tournament in Altus The Rocket League 1 team competed in the playoffs, and the boys played well, but sadly weren’t able to progress to state.

Eagle Teams Start off Season with 1-1 Records

Watonga basketball has officially taken flight for the 2022-2023 season. On Tuesday, Nov. 29 the Eagle teams played Hinton. The girls came out on top with a win and the boys ended the night with a loss. Friday, Dec. 2 they faced the Thomas Terriers. The girls fell to Thomas, and the boys triumphed with their first win.
