To address the shortage of commercial drivers license holders (CDLs) Chisolm Trail Technology Center started a drivers training program and built a training space north of Watonga. The course, which has students ready to take their test in about 28 days, can also be catered to specific businesses. In July, about 15 students, all employees of Wheeler Bros., took the classes and readied themselves with new job skills.
