The 3rd Annual Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) Charitable Hunt was held on September 16 in Devol, Oklahoma. The Hunt raised over $67,000 for the benefit of the SWOSU Department of Parks and Recreation Management.

“This event is so unique and allows alumni and friends to gather for a worthy cause—our Parks & Recreation Management program,” said SWOSU President Dr. Diana Lovell. “We are so very grateful to all who participated, donated and bid to make SWOSU’s third annual Charitable Hunt a resounding success!”

Proceeds from the Hunt will be allocated to the Dr. Ken Rose Memorial Fund, which exists to help SWOSU produce the next generation of conservationists, wildlife law enforcement officials, park rangers and other outdoor and wildlife career professionals.

For the third consecutive year, Kandi and Rick Nagel of Norman served as the Hunt’s presenting sponsor and major underwriters. Kandi is a 1998 SWOSU alumnae and past president of the SWOSU Alumni Association.
