After School Program director Natalie Lierle brought third graders from the after school program at Fort Cobb-Broxton to present this month’s program. The children sang the 12 Days of Christmas and four of the student aides read The Night Before Christmas. Following the program, secretary Christi Smith took roll and read the minutes from the last meeting.
Julie Mead provided the devotion to the group, which centered on the birth of Jesus. A treasurer’s report was given by Sandra Whaley and committee reports were given by each of the committee chairs.
Following lunch prepared by the culinary staff at CKCT, the meeting was adjourned.
The next meeting will be held Monday, January 12, at Caddo Kiowa Technology Center. The program scheduled for January will be conducted by OREA Executive Director Sabra Tucker, OREA Legislative Chair Linda Long, and OREA SW District Director Pam Holland. This meeting should be very interesting and informative for all in attendance.
