The public is invited to Clinton, Oklahoma for Corn Bible Academy’s 60th annual German feast and auction beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 6. This will be the second feast at the school’s new 40-acre campus at 22387 E 1070 Road in Clinton.

The meal will feature delicious verenika (cottage cheese dumplings) smothered in a ham and onion gravy, zwiebach, German sausage, cherry or pluma mousse and New Year’s cookies of fried raisin, chocolate chip, or apple fritters. A hamburger meal will also be served with chips, baked beans, and New Year’s cookies.

You will not want to miss the exciting live auction featuring handmade quilts, handmade furniture, sports memorabilia, vacations and more. The auction will begin at 1 p.m. in the gymnasium.

There will be several big changes to the auction portion of the event this year. The doors will open for the bake sale at 10. Homemade breads, and other baked goods including hundreds of dozens of schnetka - a German pastry featuring cinnamon, sugar, and cream - will be available for purchase. The silent auction has become an online auction, with the bidding opening on March 9 and closing on April 2. See items on Heardauction.hibid.com.
