Visit Roman Nose State Park on October 1 to join the community in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a Hispanic Heritage Fiesta. Visitors can celebrate the diversity of Oklahoma’s Hispanic community at this family-friendly event featuring cultural performances, dancing, vendors and artists from local Mexican, Peruvian, Guatemalan, Colombian and many other communities, along with a variety of food trucks.
National Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) is observed every year from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15., and is dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating the history, culture and contributions of Hispanic Americans.
The Hispanic Heritage Fiesta is from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1 at Roman Nose State Park at the Springs Area, located in the west of the park.
