This species is highly unique for its distinct vocalizations and behavior of perching high up in trees, as many of us have witnessed. Did you know they form lifelong, monogamous pair bonds and actively share parenting responsibilities, with both the male and female selecting the nest, incubating their eggs, and raising their ducklings?
