Graduates will enter the stands from the east and west side of the bleachers to “Pomp and Circumstance” and the ceremony will begin. The valedictorians are Lavender Cisneros, Halie Elston, Noah Hightower, Wade McCrary, Kyler Parham and Eden Waggoner. Valedictorian speeches will be prerecorded and played for the audience. The graduates will be presented their diplomas on the bottom platform of the stands by Mark Batt, superintendent and the Watonga Board of Education. After receiving their diplomas, graduates will then make their way down to the front of the home stands. Then the superintendent will present to the crowd the Watonga high school Class of 2020.

Class pictures and cap and gown pictures will be taken at 9 a.m. June 4 on the football field with Horton’s Studios. June 5, before graduation join the Watonga Community Theatre and Watonga Chamber in celebrating the town. The senior names will be on the new Liberty Marquee reveal and the senior 2020 slide show will be shown on Wheeler Bros Grain silos.
