Ferguson Features

Hi Friends,

Just wanted to let you know what is happening at the TB Ferguson Home Museum.

The Ferguson Home Museum is run by the Friends of the T. B. Ferguson Home Museum a non-profit organization that seeks to preserve the T.B. and Elva Ferguson Home, as a historic landmark and interpret the early day lifestyle of Governor and Mrs. Ferguson while he was 6th Territorial Governor of Oklahoma, their influence on the territory, as newspaper owners, and pioneers, from the Cheyenne and Arapaho land opening in 1892 up to 1947.

There has been a lot of outside work going on the upstairs front porch area has been scraped and painted. On the lower level most of the scraping has been completed and the new columns are being installed. Thank you, Clay and Anthony.

Our events have been postponed for the last couple of months due to Covid’s new variant. Currently, we are planning for the Cheese festival and the Haunted house.

We are currently having a membership drive. As a member of the Friends of the Ferguson Home family your will receive:

The home is open from 10 to 3 Wednesday through Saturday. Come by anytime for a tour. Volunteers are always welcome.
