Editor’s note: Candidates are shown in the order in which they filed for their respective seats.

The books for local and regional filings for school board seats and places on the boards of area technical schools closed Dec. 7.

Filing for Watonga School Board Seat three was Andy Wigington, who is unopposed for the seat he currently fills. Unopposed seats will not appear on the ballots in the board of education general on April 4 for Geary, Okeene, Canton and Cimarron Schools along with municipality elections.

The filing for municipalities is Feb. 6-8.

And over on the Custer County borderland, Haley Kliewer is unopposed for seat three on the Thomas-Fay-Custer school board, and Traci Haijny will fill out the unexpired term for seat one on that same board.
