I fully recognize that finding the right church for any individual or family can sometimes be frustrating. First of all, we must understand that there is no such thing as the “perfect church”.
Also, it may at times be difficult finding your place and purpose once you decide where to attend.
Finding the “right seat” (your place-your purpose) on the “right bus” (the right church for you) is so very personal. You must decide what you want in a church, what your style of worship best meets your idea of worship, larger or small congregation (both have their pluses) and then, what programs are offered for the children. It’s also really important to find a church where people are welcoming, friendly (but not too much), and you feel sense a feeling of acceptance. And, of course, does the pastor preach God’s Word in a way even the children understand, and is relevant in today’s society.
My prayer is that every person sincerely seeking a church to call home will find one. Maybe this can guide you in some small way.
There’s really nothing better than ”finding the right seat on the right bus”. Good Luck and God bless. No church is perfect.
