Former WPD Officer Now In the Baking Business

WATONGA – Alicia Ford spent years patrolling the streets of Watonga, helping to keep the city safe. Now, she’s giving back in a very different – and delicious – way.

Ford now operates Our Daily Bread Bakery, which makes cupcakes, cookies, cakes, breads, pastries and more by request. Ford said she went to culinary school for a bit, but never expected to have her own baking business. Her company’s Facebook page is filled with creative specialty cakes and other tasty treats.

Ford has been baking for Our Daily Bread since early 2019, she said.
