Hunting Regs Online

With dove season opening statewide Monday, hunters should remember to stay up to date with the latest Oklahoma Fishing & Hunting Regulations, available now online and in print anywhere hunting licenses are sold. To view them online, go to https://wildlifedepartment. com/hunting/regs?u tm_campaign=ceoojmegalistsept12025& utm_co ntent=&utm_medium=e mail&utm_source=govdelivery& utm_term= WMA Check-In Requirements for Nonresidents; New Rules in Effect Now New this year, nonresidents accessing certain public hunting and fishing areas for any reason must check in and out of the area. More information, including a list of required areas, is available now at wildlifedepartment.com/c heck-in. The new checkin rules do not apply to Oklahoma residents.

Additionally, any nonresident hunting game birds on a WMA (this includes any GMA, PHA, WRP, WDU, or WMU) must possess a game bird permit.

The Land Access Permit is $100 for residents ($200 for nonresidents) and opens access well over 300,000 acres of prime wildlife habitat leased by the Wildlife Department from private landowners. If an open gate to this kind of acreage sounds appealing, then the Land Access Permit may be your next key piece of hunting gear!
