With the last 2 articles I think all of you can tell what I think of this so called “Pandemic”. I think all of us agree that our lives before were a lot easier to manage, but we are learning to cope. With God’s help we will not only survive, but we will thrive as our faith in him grows. Bad things bring out the best in good people and the worst in bad people. The question is: “What kind of person are you?”
A close friend stopped by awhile back and helped me remember that God is always in control. Going through these times will either make us closer to God, or it will move us farther away from God. The choice is ours. What will your choice be?
I remember what Joshua said in Joshua 24:14-15, “Now therefore fear the LORD and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
We must also always remember what Solomon concluded the book of Ecclesiastes with in Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, “The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.”
God bless each and every one of you, and may you continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
