A Lamp to My Feet

I thought that I wouldn’t be making anymore comments about the Covid 19 virus, but I’m going to have to make one today. Folks, this virus is not predictable as to whom it is going to kill. I have heard of people that are sickly children that weather the disease alright. I have also heard of people that are at a high risk that get the disease and recover as if they have had a common cold. Then I read or hear about those that are healthy adults that don’t seem to be at risk. They get the disease, and they are the ones that die from it. All I want to say

All I want to say about this is that every one of us needs to be prepared to die and face God at the judgment. James tells us in James 4:1317 (ESV), “Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.”

Are you ready to die and face God in judgment? If not, I’d like to study the Bible with you and help you along the path to heaven. God bless you, and have yourself a very merry Christmas.
