Fifth Grade Spotlight (ABOVE) Students have been studying figurative language in Mrs. Cowan's reading class. Their assignment was to illustrate the literal meaning of an idiom, even though idioms are not literal.

They donated over 2,000 items! The two classes donating the most items were 3rd grade and 9th grade! Third grade will be getting a pizza party and 9th grade will be getting a Crumbl Cookie party.
